Rising Star honorees must be 40 years old or younger or in practice for no more than 10 years. They are selected by Super Lawyers, a division of Thompson Reuters, based on independent research, peer nominations, and evaluation by an advisory board. Super Lawyers bestows the honor on no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state each year, and the exclusive list has just been been published in the Rising Stars issue of Texas Super Lawyers magazine and in Texas Monthly magazine.
2024 marks the fifth time for Partner Justin Bryan to make the list while family law Partner Erin Clegg has made the list four years in a row. Dallas attorney Jesse Showalter has made the list the last three years, and Dallas Partner Jesse Cromwell and Houston attorney Eric Utermohlen are on the list for the second year in a row. Dallas Partner Shane Eghbal made the list for the first time this year, along with Frisco attorneys Kylie Peebles and Michael Ricchi.
McCathern congratulates all eight attorneys on this honor, and the firm is particularly thrilled that all three eligible attorneys from the firm’s renowned Family Law practice were recognized this year!
The Texas Super Lawyers list, which honors attorneys over 40 years of age, is announced in September each year.
