The McCathern law firm is excited to announce the addition of three new attorneys to the Dallas office in Associates Jessica Bland, Samantha Chaiken, and Maddie Kleifield. All three are exceptionally talented recent law school graduates who are prepared to immediately make a positive impact for McCathern clients.

Jessica Bland is working on McCathern’s Business & Commercial Litigation clients as well as on Business Tax and Tax Litigation matters. Before

joining the firm, Jessica attended Baylor Law School, earning accolades for her superior performance in Practice Court and Client Counseling Competitions. She also twice clerked for the Texas Fifth Court of Appeals while in law school.

Attorney Samantha “Sam” Chaiken is primarily assisting the firm’s Insurance Litigation and Business & Commercial Litigation clients. Samantha also attended Baylor Law School, where she participated in the Practice Court program, was a member of the Sports Law Negotiations team, and was secretary of the Baylor Public Interest Legal Society. In addition, she clerked at McCathern and in the office of the Attorney General of Texas’ Child Support Division in Dallas.

Maddie Kleifield is working with McCathern’s seasoned attorneys on Intellectual Property, Business & Commercial Litigation, and Corporate Services matters and will soon be licensed in both Texas and Arizona. Maddie graduated with honors from SMU’s Dedman School of Law where she was a member of the Sports & Entertainment Law Association and completed an externship program with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club’s legal team.
